Structure and thermodynamics of nonaqueous solvation by integral equation theory

Electronic structure theory under the influence of apolar solvents suffers from substantial methodical difficulties since in this case the solvent-induced solute polarization originates mainly from specific directional interactions and higher electric multipoles. Continuum solvation models based on the dielectric solvent response such as the PCM approach ignore such interactions and can therefo...

APPROXIMATION SOLUTION OF TWO-DIMENSIONAL LINEAR STOCHASTIC FREDHOLM INTEGRAL EQUATION BY APPLYING THE HAAR WAVELET

In this paper, we introduce an efficient method based on Haar wavelet to approximate a solutionfor the two-dimensional linear stochastic Fredholm integral equation. We also give an example to demonstrate the accuracy of the method.

Integral equation theory for two-dimensional polymer melts.

The polymer reference interaction site model theory is investigated for two-dimensional polymer melts composed of freely-jointed hard disk chains and tangent-disk rods. Exact results for the intramolecular pair correlation functions are input into the theory, and predictions of the theory for the intermolecular pair correlation functions are tested via comparison with simulation. The theory is ...

Approximation solution of two-dimensional linear stochastic Volterra-Fredholm integral equation via two-dimensional Block-pulse ‎functions

In this paper, a numerical efficient method based on two-dimensional block-pulse functions (BPFs) is proposed to approximate a solution of the two-dimensional linear stochastic Volterra-Fredholm integral equation. Finally the accuracy of this method will be shown by an example.

Solving a class of nonlinear two-dimensional Volterra integral equations by using two-dimensional triangular orthogonal functions

In this paper, the two-dimensional triangular orthogonal functions (2D-TFs) are applied for solving a class of nonlinear two-dimensional Volterra integral equations. 2D-TFs method transforms these integral equations into a system of linear algebraic equations. The high accuracy of this method is verified through a numerical example and comparison of the results with the other numerical methods.
